OT: Controller support is planned Kb/M PC Master race bleh. At least one EA title has to finally deliver and so far 7DTD is leading the pack. Why Because console commands (also known as cheat codes) completely change up the way the game is played.

I'm still angry about several other games that said 'the game will be patched and supported for quite some time to come' and haven't had a patch in over a year, and their websites give the 404 error. If you didnt think it could get any better and dont know about console commands, youre in for a shock. You are hereby designated the 'Voice of Hope' for this game. The game will be patched and supported for quite some time to come, Enjoy it brothers and sisters! The game is a alpha, yes glitches are a sign that the game will be abandoned? Even AAA games are glitch messes all the time now, or lest we forget the newest assassins creed launch. Oh my but we are negative arnt we! I highly dobt that a game that is updated on a bi-weekly sced is a sign of not caring sir. so by the end of 2015 this game will be abandoned. They've already started ignoring game breaking glitches. At this rate, we'll see some skill trees around 2017 It's been a year, and we still don't have stretch goals. You do tend to need to react fairly quickly a lot of times. This is one of those 'better off with the mouse' games. With the mouse & keyboard, I feel at times it'd be nice to have 1-3 extra fingers on my hand just to be able to hit the buttons quickly and accurately enough. Having all the controls very close together is a hell of a lot better than moving your hands from W, S, A, D to the 1-9 and/or Function keys and the like. The controller *IS* smoother and does work very well in many games (especially flight and 'float' style games) but it's also slower and less accurate with many other games. As you say, you can't move as fast and accurately with controllers over a mouse & keyboard. Not so hot with controllers vs mouse & keyboard. I use it for some games that are hard to play without one and it works well. I have a controller now - got one about a month or so ago. I think there is option called show unity screen selector or something, check that and run.

And a bad port can be palatable with a controller. When launching the game, select run 7 days to die launcher. Controller has pros and cons, mouse is fast and accurate but controller is better for analogic movement, smooth control of the camera and is more confortable, it's also better for some genres like hack'n'slash and others. I am PC gamer and once I got used to the controller I am playing a bunch of PC games with it. At 1st it may not seem so but get your mouse tuned and get use to the keyboard some and the thought of using a controller again will make you want to puke.
